This fine painting is close to 100 years old, and has been in private collections since first given as a gift to Orrin Peck's friend Mary Willis. The frame itself is magnificent. Ornate gilt plater of Paris on wire. There are several small age cracks in the long narrow sections that are typical of humidity changes. But there are 12 notable sections of the Plaster filigree that are missing, although there has been a crude attempt to repair, re-gilt or simply paint over the bright white plaster. There is, additionally, one scratch on the painting (see next to #14 note) which only seems to have gone through the oil, not the canvas.
