Spiced Maple Pecans n' SoynutsA terrific party mix for munching when we first arrive at the party!
Dump the soy nuts and pecans onto a baking sheet. Drizzle on the maple syrup and mix it up (I use my hands). Sprinkle on the spice(s) & mix again. Bake for about 10 minutes at 300 degrees. Stir, but leave it on the sheet until cool so it doesn't get all clumped up. *NOT chile powder, which has cumin and other things in it Each approx 1/2 cup has 1 block protein, 1 block carbs, and 3 fat blocks (but it's *good* fat!)
